Just horsing around

There is nothing cuter than a pony and her little girl.

Sophie Belle hugs this pony with style!

This is Donna Carroll and “Joy”. I found this beautiful Thoroughbred mare and fell in love with her. She was 12 years old and had no formal training and almost no experience under saddle, but was willing to try and please. Donna was one of my riding students from the early 1990’s and I knew she had the skill and experience to bring this mare along. These pictures are from Donna’s fist ride on this horse and I am so proud of them both. The Paint horse in the picture on the right was one of my foals that I sold to Donna 24 years ago. Now he is 26 and looks great.

Christine Simmons and West Coast Scout. “Train” We lost count of the number of blue ribbons this horse won.

Train was bred by Pamela Ropp of Arizona, considered a 10 mover by Hilda Gurney and this horse could jump the moon!

Pictured here at three years old, he actually blossomed at five years old and became quite handsome

A horse show at Christmas time? Heck yeah!
